There’s nothing more special than watching two people step into parenthood. I had the honour of photographing Joyce & Pete for both their maternity session and again when they welcomed their first son earthside. We began with a peaceful evening shoot in Vancouver as they soaked in the final quiet moments before baby arrived—full of soft light, anticipation, and so much love.

A few weeks later, I joined them at home for their newborn session, capturing all the tiny, beautiful details of early life with their son. These sessions are a reminder of how quickly everything changes—and how meaningful it is to preserve it all. As a Vancouver maternity and newborn photographer, documenting these milestone moments is truly a joy.
