Capturing memories is more than someone simply smiling into my camera lens. It’s about seeing and photographing the moments between the moments; the split seconds that occur between the poses where stories and memories are truly made.
Photography has been just that for me: a medium to tell the depth of the love stories I am so blessed to witness. I started shooting out of a love for the craft, and have continued not only fuelled by that same raw passion, but also inspired by the unique, keen-to-do-things-their-way couples I’ve worked with over the past few years.
Being able to capture a love story as it unfolds is an act of trust and an embracing of value; trusting the process of capturing the moments that make memories, and valuing every step of the experience of working together. From BC’s lower mainland to destination locations across the globe, my clients have trusted me in bringing their memories to life, from farm inspired weddings in Pemberton to dreamy beach nuptials on every kind of beach (including ones that favour palm trees over pines) – and everywhere in between.
My home is on Vancouver’s North Shore, where I split my time between capturing events that draw people together, and exploring all things nature with my 100lb German Shepard, Zara. I’m a coffee addict who is always checking out new cafes around town, am cellularly obsessed with music, and am inspired by any opportunity to connect with and learn from new people crossing my path.
I’m thrilled to share with you the stories I’ve captured, and give you a peek into what’s possible for your big day.
